The 2027 RS Models
Introducing the 2027 Beta RS range of Dual Sport motorcycles. The RS range is the closest thing to a street-legal, full competition model money can buy. Based on the popular RR X-Pro range, the RS adds a few touches for Dual Sport use, including a Trail Tech Voyager GPS, fold-down mirrors, and a high-output LED headlight.
With the RS being based on the off-road RR models, it opens the door for play riders to use the model for multiple disciplines, including off road competition, Motocross, and other events well within the capabilities of the chassis and engine. This makes the bike “Modular” in design by adding or removing items to suit the rider’s needs.
The RS range comes in four different engine sizes, including 350, 390, 430, and 500, all four with different personalities. The 350 is for riders who enjoy the free-revving felling of a smaller 4 stroke, like that of a 250F engine yet with more torque. The 390 and 430 are for those who prefer a torquier engine but still have that power delivery like a larger bore model. The 500 is a do-all model, great for the single-track trails yet capable of climbing the tallest hills in the desert. All four are in a chassis that has been proven to exploit the Beta tagline RideAbility.
Many updates adorn the 2027 models, including changes to the frame and suspension. A lower seat height has also been introduced, making it easier to touch the ground. All of these updates come straight from the X-Pro range. Go to betausa.com for more information.
Updated for 2027:
- New frame: Micro-cast headstay and footpeg mounts for added strength and rigidity.
- Titanium Valves: Revised finishes on the titanium valves increase durability and reliability under hard use.
- Mechanical Chain Tensioner: The timing chain tensioner switches to a purely mechanical design with a newly calibrated spring. This reduces internal friction and ensures smoother engine operation and more consistent starting, whether the motor is hot or cold.
- Rear Airbox Boot: Redesigned for more stable airflow to enhance overall power delivery.
- Heavy-Duty Chain Guide: Features a reinforced structure to withstand mud, rocks, and hard impacts from ruts and logs. A straighter, stronger guide ensures final drive stability, prevents thrown chains, and protects the swingarm.
- Softer Compound Grips: New, softer grips reduce rider fatigue and arm pump by absorbing trail vibration, allowing you to stay on the gas longer.
- Redesigned Front Sprocket Guard: The redesigned guard offers wider coverage and increased impact resistance, protecting key components from debris while meeting strict racing safety regulations.

Suspension & Chassis Updates
-
Lower Seat Height & Mass Centralization: The RS maintains a 36.6 inches seat height, which sits almost an inch lower than the RR Race models. This gives riders a much easier reach to the ground during technical hard enduro sections or amateur trail rides.
-
SHC (Separate Hydraulic Chamber) Front Fork: Designed exclusively for single-track, this fork retains the innovative asymmetrical layout that saves roughly 250 grams compared to conventional forks. The right leg handles the spring action, while the left leg controls the hydraulics. For 2027, the internal valving has been tuned to broaden the fork’s plushness, specifically focusing on better initial plushness and bump absorption rather than just bottoming resistance.
-
Toolless Rear Shock Adjustment: The rear shock, tuned to balance the SHC fork, features a redesigned hydraulic damper that better separates high-speed and low-speed damping circuits. Best of all, adjustments can now be made externally by hand without needing any tools.
-
Nissin Braking System: Equipped with a compact, lightweight, motocross-derived Nissin front brake setup that offers immense stopping power with excellent lever modulation.
- 2 Year Limited Warranty: Unlimited mileage
- Availability: Arriving at dealers in December
