Beta announces 2027 RR Race Models

Beta is proud to announce the details of its 2027 RR Race model lineup. The Race models have always been developed for the rider looking for an edge over the competition through performance and a look that is second to none. All of this while keeping Beta’s tagline of Rideability that offers riders and racers a feeling on the bike that builds confidence.

The RR Race models represent the race-ready versions of Beta’s RR X-Pro range and feature a series of modifications to the engine, suspension, and chassis, making them the perfect choice for riders who enjoy racing.

UPDATED FEATURES: RR RACE 4-STROKE MODELS

New electronics: first introduced on the X-Pro models, these two technologies are derived from the world of racing and transfer down to the Race model range.

  • Launch Control: Enables the RR 4 Stroke Race models to get off to a flying start, managing torque delivery to maximize traction right from the start, eliminating any time lost due to wheel spin or uncontrolled wheelies. There are five different levels of control to give the rider enough choices depending on conditions.
  • Quick Shift: Allows the rider to shift gears without having to release the throttle, ensuring lightning-fast gear changes with no interruption in power, covering more distance in less time.

These two features raise the technological level of Beta’s 4 Stroke range to new standards, placing competition-grade controls in the rider’s hands to deliver maximum performance in all racing conditions. The control panel, mounted in the handlebar pad, now houses the new LC and QS buttons alongside the tried-and-tested two-level Traction Control (TC) and the map switch (with two engine maps).

Voltage regulator: This new regulator has a greater output and charges the battery at higher RPM, which eliminates any low battery symptoms.

Titanium valves: An added feature, as now all models feature Titanium valves on both the intake and exhaust sides. The benefits include better performance as well as fewer valve adjustments needed due to the lightness of the valve.

New cam chain tensioner: 100% mechanical adjustment to ensure proper adjustment at any temperature or RPM. This new tensioner system was installed on the 2026 RX and RC 450 models and has proven to be more consistent while reducing “flame outs” while riding at slow speeds.

UPDATED FEATURES: RR RACE 2 STROKE MODELS

125 Piston: An updated piston has been introduced on the RR 125 Race model, the result of optimization work aimed at improving the smoothness of the overall power delivery.

300 Engine: Beta's engineers have refined the 300 2-stroke engines by adjusting the engine head geometry and the exhaust valve timing, with the aim of making the response at low and medium revs even more progressive. The result is more controllable power delivery during throttle control, without compromising the performance and racing character that have always distinguished this model. This leads to greater usability of torque across the entire rev range.

New Features on all Models:
  • Chain guide: the new reinforced structure offers better resistance to mud, stones and impacts, ensuring greater durability and consistently efficient chain guidance. This improves the precision of the drivetrain, with a reduced risk of the chain derailing under extreme conditions.
  • Grips: new grips on all models offer more comfort and reduce vibration. These new grips are in grey and are softer than previous models.
  • LED headlight and headlight mask: design and functionality come together in the new headlight mask created by Beta’s designers, which refreshes the bike’s look by incorporating a robust, new, latest-generation LED headlight. As well as delivering a more powerful beam, this headlight consumes less power, thereby extending the battery’s service life.
  • Front sprocket guard: the new front sprocket guard has been redesigned to offer wider coverage and greater strength than the previous model, ensuring superior protection against impacts.
  • Suspension: The Kayaba (KYB) suspension has updated internal valve settings to further enhance the overall performance of each model. Each year, the Beta engineers and race team continue to develop these settings to move the needle closer to the perfect balance.
  • Speedometer: new instrument made by Trial Tech, offers a larger readout of MPH, RPM, total miles, resettable trip meters for Enduro resets, as well as monitoring engine hours.
Retained Features:

  • Kayaba (KYB) 46 mm rear shock: the KYB rear shock can be considered a benchmark in the world of competition. A gold standard for overall plushness yet able to soak up the largest of square-edge bumps. This shock is fully adjustable for high and low-speed compression as well as rebound.
  • Kayaba (KYB) 48 mm front fork: the KYB closed-cartridge front fork is perfectly balanced with the rear shock to complete the suspension package. Fully adjustable with compression and rebound settings.
  • Backup starter available: a backup kick starter is still available for the 2-stroke Race models for those riders that want extra security in case of a battery failure when riding in extreme remote areas. This backup system is available through the Beta USA website as an accessory.
  • Quick-release front wheel axle: immediately recognizable by its red anodized quick-release mechanism, this is essential for saving precious seconds during a race when a tire needs replacement.
  • Reinforced handguards: the handguards feature a two-component molded construction, which not only gives the bike a racing look but also makes them particularly durable during the most intense off-road use.
  • Billet machined aluminum footpegs: now designed with a curved top for better grip, these aluminum footpegs have replaceable stainless steel pins offering a large amount of grip and durability. Anodized in black with the Beta logo to finalize the special look.
  • Dual material rear sprocket: ZF rear sprocket has an anodized aluminum center with steel sprocket teeth that offer a lightweight yet super strong and durable design from the steel ring.
  • Gripper seat: with non-slip covering and a document pocket, for maximum grip, comfort and functionality.
  • Racing graphics: enhancing the Race model’s track appeal.
  • Black anodized gear shift lever and rear foot brake lever.
  • Red anodized aluminum Gearbox oil cap, engine oil cap and oil filter cap.
  • Red anodized rear chain adjuster blocks.

On all 2-stroke models, the automatic oil injection has been omitted (it can be purchased as an option at Beta Dealers or betausa.com) to minimize the bike’s weight as much as possible.
