KLIM, the Idaho-based technical riding gear company known for its durable, functional, high-performance off-road apparel, introduces the latest addition to its off-road motorcycle line – the all-new high-performance XC Pro Jersey, Pant and Glove.
Focusing specifically on high-output off-road riding, KLIM redesigned the XC Pro series over a span of more than two years, deeply involved with professional off-road racers to help drive the design. As a result, the XC Pro series blends stretch, durability and cooling fabrics in a never-before-seen package designed for flexibility and performance in the hands of the most demanding riders.
“At KLIM, we team up with professional racers to validate our gear in the harshest real-world conditions. That process teaches us a tremendous amount about how new materials perform in extreme conditions, which allows us to push the product further than anything we’ve developed before,” said Brent Harden, KLIM Motorcycle Product Line Director. “The result is an XC Pro pant that’s lighter and more comfortable than any off-road pant we’ve ever built, paired with an industry-first knitted jersey that uses Brrrº cooling fibers to help regulate core temperature in the most extreme conditions.”
The racing-inspired XC Pro Jersey is a premium knit off-road jersey, featuring highly mobile construction with body-mapped chemical-free Brrrº cooling fabrics. This cooling material is “engineered knit” to optimize breathability and comfort with minimal stitch lines in a highly mobile chassis. Riders will find the jersey to be extremely comfortable and flexible, eliminating any areas of discomfort during extreme rides.
The low-bulk, in-the-boot XC Pro Pant, developed through rigorous racecourse testing, incorporates highly durable Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) stretch fabrics for lightweight durability in the knees and seat. This new stretch fabric fabric will improve mobility with knee braces while reducing fatigue by allowing for easier movement, saving energy over the course of a ride. Strategically placed laser-cut vents keep riders cool in the heat of action, while the stretchy main chassis keeps range of motion at a maximum. KLIM’s signature zippered leg pocket provides convenient storage.
The lightweight and performance-oriented XC Pro Glove now uses a genuine goat leather seamless palm to create the most streamlined and precise hand-to-handlebar connection possible. A full-stretch engineered knit cooling backhand creates exceptional dexterity.
As the riding and racing season heats up, KLIM proudly supports competitive riders with its Racer Support Program. Off-road racers with at least a year of experience are encouraged to apply for gear support in their race efforts. The program aims to alleviate the financial burden of racing for privateers who meet the qualifications.
