Beta Announces 2027 RR X-Pro Models

2027 Beta RR X-PRO: Ride Like an X-PRO

The Beta X-PRO approach to enduro has won over riders of all skill levels. For the 2027 model year, the X-PRO evolves to become even more capable, making it the ultimate adventure companion, no matter how you approach the trail.

Experienced riders love its versatility, seamlessly switching from fast tracks to technical Hard Enduro to singletrack thanks to an adaptable chassis and clicker settings that can be adjusted on the fly. Amateurs and weekend warriors appreciate the ease of use and confidence the bike delivers, keeping things comfortable even when the terrain gets demanding.

With chassis updates for 2027, the X-PRO reaches a new level of refinement. It caters to a wider range of riding styles with a precise, highly effective suspension adjustment system. The 2-stroke lineup benefits from fine-tuned power delivery and improved ride comfort, while the 4-stroke models debut a suite of advanced electronic rider aids.

The X-PRO sits perfectly in the sweet spot of Beta's lineup. It serves as the bridge between the agile, entry-level Xtrainer and the race-equipped, high-spec RR Race models. The X-PRO is more robust and structured than the Xtrainer, yet remains simpler and more user-friendly than the full-blown race bikes.

The lineup features 8 distinct models to match any rider's preference, all sharing a core trait: inspiring the confidence needed to elevate your riding experience.

New Exclusive 4-Stroke Features – Model Sizes: 350, 390, 430, & 480

  • Advanced Electronics & Handlebar Controls: For the first time on Beta’s 4-stroke models, racing-derived technologies make their debut:
  • Launch Control (LC): Features 5 adjustable levels to manage torque delivery off the line. It maximizes traction immediately, preventing stalling or unwanted wheelies, perfect for occasional trips to the motocross track.
  • Quick Shift (QS): Allows for lightning-fast upshifts without letting off the throttle or pulling the clutch, ensuring zero loss of momentum.
  • Redesigned Control Panel: The control panel houses the new LC and QS buttons alongside the proven 2-level Traction Control (TC) and dual-map switch. It integrates cleanly into a redesigned handlebar pad.
  • Upgraded Voltage Regulator: Features a more efficient voltage regulator that guarantees stable power delivery across the entire wiring harness. Battery charging capacity has also been increased to ensure reliable starting during long, grueling rides.
  • Titanium Valves: Revised finishes on the titanium valves increase durability and reliability under hard use.
  • Mechanical Chain Tensioner: The timing chain tensioner switches to a purely mechanical design with a newly calibrated spring. This reduces internal friction and ensures smoother engine operation and more consistent starting, whether the motor is hot or cold.

New 2-Stroke Exclusive Features – Model Sizes: 125, 200, 250, & 300

  • Updated Main Bearings (250/300): The 250cc and 300cc engines feature updated main bearings to minimize internal crankshaft friction, delivering a more immediate, crisp throttle response that X-PRO riders demand.
  • Optimized Piston (125): The 125cc model features an updated piston design that reduces friction, improves mechanical reliability, and reduces engine noise.
  • Longer Primary Gearing (200): Inherited directly from the Race edition, the 200cc model features a longer primary gear ratio to optimize load distribution and increase internal gearbox strength. To keep the exact same snappy ride feel and power delivery, the final drive (sprockets) has been shortened to perfectly offset the internal change.

Shared Updates Across All 2027 Models

  • Heavy-Duty Chain Guide: Features a reinforced structure to withstand mud, rocks, and hard impacts from ruts and logs. A straighter, stronger guide ensures final drive stability, prevents thrown chains, and protects the swingarm.
  • Softer Compound Grips: New, softer grips reduce rider fatigue and arm pump by absorbing trail vibration, allowing you to stay on the gas longer.
  • Upgraded Trailtech Speedometer: A new Trailtech digital dash is larger and significantly easier to read on the fly. It is paired with a highly accurate reed sensor at the wheel for precise speed tracking. New with this meter is the ability to adjust the tripmeter up or down in tenths for those who still compete in timekeeping enduro events.
  • LED Headlight & Mask: A redesigned, aggressive front mask houses a latest-generation LED headlight. It throws a much brighter, safer beam while drawing less power from the battery.
  • Redesigned Front Sprocket Guard: The redesigned guard offers wider coverage and increased impact resistance, protecting key components from debris while meeting strict racing safety regulations.

Suspension & Chassis Refinements

  • Lower Seat Height & Mass Centralization: The X-PRO maintains a 36.6-inch seat height, which sits almost an inch lower than the RR Race models. This gives riders a much easier reach to the ground during technical hard enduro sections or amateur trail rides.
  • SHC (Separate Hydraulic Chamber) Front Fork: Designed exclusively for single-track, this fork retains the innovative asymmetrical layout that saves roughly 250 grams compared to conventional forks. The right leg handles the spring action, while the left leg controls the hydraulics. For 2027, the internal valving has been tuned to broaden the fork’s plushness, specifically focusing on better initial plushness and bump absorption rather than just bottoming resistance.
  • Toolless Rear Shock Adjustment: The rear shock, tuned to balance the SHC fork, features a redesigned hydraulic damper that better separates high-speed and low-speed dampening circuits. Best of all, adjustments can now be made externally by hand without needing any tools.
