KLIM RELEASES REDESIGNED FLAGSHIP KODIAK JACKET & PANT

World class waterproof touring gear redesigned with upgrades in comfort, abrasion rating and an all-new proprietary Rogue™ armor package.

KLIM, the Idaho-based technical riding gear company, is releasing the fourth generation Kodiak Jacket and Pant as the ultimate expression of KLIM’s touring philosophy: absolute capability without compromise. Designed for the dedicated long-distance rider, the redesigned Kodiak integrates KLIM’s new proprietary Rogue™ EXP Level 2 armor into a sophisticated, European-tailored chassis. By combining the all-weather dominance of GORE-TEX® Pro Shell with the new Rogue™ EXP armor, the Kodiak delivers a riding experience that is more streamlined and more protective than ever before.

The integration of Rogue™ EXP (Expanded Protection) Level 2 armor fundamentally upgrades the impact protection capacity of Kodiak gear beyond any prior generation of the gear. These Level 2 limb pads provide an average of 44% more impact area coverage while maintaining a slim, breathable profile that mitigates heat buildup. To help the gear fit well on every rider, KLIM has implemented a precise split-sizing architecture. Size medium and smaller jackets and size 30 and smaller pants are equipped with Compact Rogue™ EXP pads, while size large/32 and larger pieces utilize standard EXP sizes. This calibration optimizes armor sizes in smaller gear, helping the protection remain unobtrusive during long days in the saddle.

The Kodiak suit is built on a 3-Layer GORE-TEX® Pro Shell foundation, the most durable and breathable waterproof membrane in the GORE-TEX® arsenal. To achieve the upgraded CE AA rating, KLIM has reinforced the chassis with a strategic material map and their Action Back shoulder gussets. Perforated goat leather overlays on the knees, shoulders and elbows provide abrasion resistance, while 630D Cordura® twisted yarn overlays protect other areas from wear. This body mapped construction is cut with a refined European sizing standard, offering a tailored silhouette.

Designed for the demanding long-distance rider, the Kodiak prioritizes comfort and weather protection versatility. Comfort is managed by a moisture-wicking breathable mesh liner and a 14-port ventilation system that drives airflow through the jacket and pant. When conditions turn severe, a removable storm collar seals the interface between helmet and jacket, creating a barrier against driving rain and wind. Available separately is the Kodiak Puffer Jacket, which has been optimized for motorcycle layering and kits perfectly with the Kodiak Jacket. The fit of the suit is highly customizable, featuring an adjustable elastic waist and quick-adjust knee straps, and every pant ships with KLIM Deluxe Suspenders.
