Enamel is a material made by fusing powdered glass to a substrate (in this case steel) by firing, usually at a temperature between 750 and 850 °C… that’s very hot for all of us °F folks. Our enamelware mugs are handmade, practical, and durable pieces of equipment right at home on any adventure. The double dipped contrast enamel layer is on both rim and handle to ensure its strength and durability.
Enamel is a neutral surface and therefore very safe for eating and drinking from. The UPSHIFT & RIDE MORE enamelware mugs are campfire safe so heat up that cup of tea or coffee and get warm. They are also dishwasher, oven and freezer safe. Yes, you can bake something in them. PLEASE DO NOT USE IN A MICROWAVE!
Enamel is a hard material that can survive a lot. However, exposed to a hard, direct impact, the coating will chip (just like glass). Don't throw your enamelware. Just say’n!
Every mug is hand dipped and finished making every one ever so slightly unique.

Again, these mugs are not microwave safe. They are made from steel. Just don’t do it!
